TMINI® 1.1 Miniature Robotic System
Pin It

THINK Surgical, Inc., a leader in orthopedic surgical robotics, launched its latest innovation, the TMINI® Miniature Robotic System version 1.1, which recently received FDA 510(k) clearance. This groundbreaking system successfully completed its first total knee arthroplasty procedure.

The TMINI System version 1.1 incorporates the TMINI PRO™ workflow, empowering surgeons with Positional Refinement and Optimization (PRO) to customize the implant to each patient's unique needs. The first robotic total knee surgery using this system was performed by Dr. Alexander Sah, Co-Director of the Institute of Joint Restoration, at the Washington Outpatient Surgery Center in Fremont, CA.

"This first surgery with the TMINI System 1.1 demonstrates our commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions in the outpatient setting," said Dr. Sah. "The system’s ability to objectively assess soft-tissue balance intraoperatively, combined with its compact design, makes it an ideal choice for robotic surgery in ambulatory surgery centers."

Stuart Simpson, President, and CEO of THINK Surgical, added, "We are excited to collaborate with Washington Outpatient Surgery Center and Dr. Sah. This launch is a significant step toward making outpatient robotic total knee surgery accessible to all institutions, particularly ASCs, and solidifies our position as a market leader."
